Default How to avoid sagging skin on the tummy area

I could say that I was fit and had a flat tummy prior to my pregnancy with my son. When I gave birth, there's a little sagging skin but I could still wear my swimsuits and fitted tops like I haven't given birth at all. Through the years I have gained a lot of weight perhaps because of age, being busy with work and family and being not too conscious on my figure. Now I'm wondering, if I do get pregnant, how do I avoid having sagging skin on the tummy area? I feel like I'm so sure that I will have a sagging skin coz of the extra inches I've gained around my waist... Care to share any tips? Thanks!

Sit ups and crunches? Sorry, that's all I know. I would also want to know coz that'll be my concern when I give birth come May!

Whenever you have the chance, try strengthening your abdomen on your own. Tightening it in 10 seconds or as long as you can could help. Do it as often as possible. Use firming lotions too.

If all else fails a surgery is an option.

Sits ups and crunches most definitely work! Best way to avoid saggy tummy is exercise.

Thanks for the response girls! My problem basically is my skin that became saggy when I gave birth to my son. Well, the cellulite as well but the skin is basically my problem but do you think laser is a good option?

Yeah, generally they do work but it's the sagging skin that is my primary concern.

I guess finding the right skin firming lotions and creams will do the job. Also wear a great binder or tube to make the saggy skin a little less obvious when you're wearing some body-hugging clothes.

That's a great suggestion! I also think scrubbing your tummy skin twice or thrice a week will smoothen and firm it.

Have you tried lipocavitation treatments?

Oooh, I guess that'll work. But it's gonna cost you a great deal of money for sure, especially if we're talking about regular treatments and not just a one-time visit. Perfectly fine for those who don't have any problem budgeting.
