Default kinds of Vaccine my baby needs...

What are the immunizations that my child needs? Are all of them really required?
I heard that 2 shots of Rotavirus is generally given but most moms say that this kind of vaccine isn't really doing much of help. I mean we moms survived not having this kind of vax when we were still babies, right? This vaccine is a sort of an anti-diarrhea.
So do all the pediatrician require is indeed a requirement?

By the way, the Rotavirus is supposed to be 3 shots, but my daughter only had 2. Her pediatrician says it's ok.

Some vaccines come in 5-in-1s or multiple doses in a single shot so baby doesn't have to suffer those extra 4 shots. You'll also save much availing that. Be prepared that the first year is all about immunization so you gotta have bucks for that aside from the insurance.

Thanks for the responses fellow moms.. My OB says we have to be ready for the first 2 years for these immunizations. I need to know the specifics even if it's covered by our insurance.

And Cadelaria, that's indeed fantastic! I don't want my baby to be crying "multiple" times too for those shots...

This is helpful especially for me that March is really fast approaching. BCG is the first shot my baby's going to have. Also a newborn testing will be done for the next 72 hours after my baby arrives but it isn't really a form of immunization though. But could be very painful for my baby's heel getting pricked.

My son had 2 shots of Rotavirus and believe me he became less susceptible to diarrhea and gastric infections. It's worth to be on the safe side I figured.
