Help!! Ya think my girlfriend's pregnant?
 

She felt her period symptoms 2 days earlier than she expected her period. She Usually feels symptoms on the 2nd day. She has been having a light and dark discharge but no cramping, no bloating and it isn't flowing. She has has irregular periods before. The week prior she's been thinking about if she was pregnant and she's been stressing all week. Im worried about her and I keep telling her she is okay. Now, Im starting to get really worried and I don't know what to do. Im to young for a kid and I can't support one yet. Someone please Help!!!!

Relax a bit... then think... It will be pointless if both of you are going to stress out all over this... you might just make wrong decisions if you do.

Anyway, you mentioned that she has irregular periods. It's possible that she is not pregnant. To be sure though, why don't you guys buy a pregnancy test kit? If it turns out negative then you can really relax. If not, then think clearly and decide what to do next. For now, since nothing is confirmed, do not panic.

Moose, you need to breathe.

First, purchase her a test, or at least urge her to get tested for pregnancy. You can get the tests at almost any store, including many dollar stores. There is a good chance that she may not be pregnant. Generally, spotting is not extremely common in pregnancy.

If she is not pregnant, it may be time to consider some form of birth control. There are many different kinds, most of which can be prescribed by a doctor. Most health departments also give out birth control, sometimes for free depending on the state or county.

Given the fact that she is having irregular periods is a sign that you shouldn't worry too much of her being pregnant. Even those who have regular periods do not have fixed flows and seldom experience erratic symptoms. Have her take a pregnancy test and better for her to set up an appointment with her OB so as to regularize her period and not to bear those symptoms (and the worries) anymore.

You know what? If she's indeed pregnant I know you'll find a way in supporting the baby. A baby is a blessing and I know God will help you in taking care of your kiddo...
