Vitamins/Supplements in First trimester

We're super happy seeing our 16 wk baby's ultrasound. The heartbeat was fine and the baby's length and measurements are right. Currently, I'm taking multivitamins and ferrous sulfate. My OB told me that she'll add some calcium later on. I'm thinking of drinking pregnancy milks but my OB says that my multivits and ferrous sulfate are enough. To all expecting moms out there, what kind of multvits and other supplements are you taking? Thank you.

I'm on my 6th week and currently taking Folic Acid, Iron and Healthy Start multivitamin supplement with 10mcgs of vitamin D. Those are what my GP has prescribed me so far.

Vitamins and supplements are good for you. Better make sure you couple it with the right diet! Fruits and vegetables! ^^

Sodium ascorbate is for those people who are more acidic. Usually, some acidic tend to have an upset stomach taking a regular ascorbic acid.

Folic Acid is the most important. Then a pre-natal multivitamin too.

It is really important to take vitamins or supplements in the first trimester. The first trimester is very much important for all pregnant women in which every pregnant women have to take care of her baby as well as herself. Vitamins are useful things for pregnant women to provide enough nutrition to the baby.

Oh isn't it great?! Of course we should all take vitamins for the baby... not only on the first trimester but I guess on a daily basis. :) I guess we just have to focus which one would be best. ;)

Not only in preparation but on the pregnancy itself too. I'm taking one now aside from my multivitamins plus my calcium supplement.

My OB asked me to stop Anmum before coz my multivitamins were already enough. Plus the added sugar in Anmum wasn't a good idea for my GDM too. :( I loved the Hazelnut one!
