errr... I don't know if I explained that nicely! ha! anyway... the idea is you will have a decorative "chandelier" made of recycled plastic cola bottles. ^^

How about this for a lantern?

@Cailyn - That's exotic! Nice but looks like it requires great hard work.

As a key feature in a bedroom, the headboard helps set the decorative tone.

If you think of a headboard as a picture frame ― it can even be a real picture frame if you wish ― you'll get a sense of how easy it is to change a bedroom's look.

The three examples described here demonstrate the range of possibilities.

PICTURE FRAME

Create a headboard picture frame by using decorative molding from a home improvement store. Screw the molding to a fabric-covered wood panel sized to fit the bed.

Or adapt a prefabricated picture frame by screwing it to a fabric-covered plywood panel. Match the frame and the fabric to the bed linens.

Wow, that picture frame idea is just great! I love the Asian feel. Very exotic. That's gonna be one of my DIY To Do list this year for sure.

I've come across one like that and the pictures used were beautiful photos of nature and scenery from old calendars. That's creativity plus being environment friendly!

Good idea! I've realised that we could even turn clutters to our creativity and cash!

Great idea! Thanks for sharing. Besides that DIY project, we could even use toilet tissue cores for wall decor too. Just a little paint, some buttons and beads to be used as a decoration, and a great adhesive are enough.
