Baby room ideas

Motherhood is the most precious job God has given us. The day of conception signifies 2 things- responsibility and celebration. Each day of parenting is a fulfilling task and our feeling of contentment leads to our "inner" celebration of motherhood. We all want the best for our kids, but realities of money and finances are all present. This thread will give us ideas on how to decorate and style our baby rooms. If you've got the quid, then half the battle has won. If you're a budget mum, you're still a winner! Because of your creativity and these inspiring stuff then you'd still be able to give the best for your child- minus the quid!!! ;)

ENJOY!!!!!

If you've got 3 kids then this is truly a space-maximizer!

Mixed feelings for this - stunned but a little too 1800-ish... am I right? Just so last century... but no offence, this is really stunning!

I like the idea for this one! This would work not only for a children's room but for those who want to have a home office.

Uhm, is this really an actual room pic or a painting? ;)

It's great! It purges some nostalgic feeling really...

This is very beautiful... but somehow it kinda reminds me of horror films... mmm... you know... with the tinkling sounds and then a dark room... and then a sudden scream. :p But I guess it's just my imagination going haywire. xD

Yes Abigail! Actually, I am now starting on making my baby's room thematic before I give birth so as to avoid the hassle of fixing stuff after the delivery. But it's not yet too late, we've got a lot of inspiration in here! :)

The room ideas here really inspire me to have my baby's room renovated! They are just so wonderful! I think I like baby blue and white with a touch of yellow too!

@ Cadelaria and Gaetana - So true! Hubby tells me that I've got loads of idea that I don't consult him on the process but involves him when carpentry and budget are all in place. LOL! :p

Are these rooms indeed real? I mean these are highly achievable if the baby's still an infant but if they get to the toddler stage then rooms that are spic-and-span, I believe, aren't achievable. Nothing, just a thought...

I guess these rooms are achievable if you always want your place to be spic-and-span and you tend to get obsessive-compulsive in managing your home.

It is very important to choose good colors. One should choose dark colors because it will helpful to develop the baby's senses. Choice of colors will also depends on the size of the room. Have a color match with baby bedding set or select the colors like your bed room.

Not all the time. Vibrant and bright colors are the best for baby rooms.

I think so too... I guess it stimulates their senses more :) otherwise they wouldn't be having fun with those crazy colorful baby TV programs :p

Ditto.

It stimulates their senses hence aiding them in visual and spatial development so I'd go for bright and vibrant colors. But they should be well coordinated. If they're not, then that could be an eye-sore!
