Can exercise lead to early labor?

One of my close friends told me that exercising during pregnancy can lead to early labor. Is it true?

If you have normal pregnancy, mild exercises will only do you good. However, if you have some complications then you should consult your doctor for advice. But please remember, in normal cases, mild exercise is actually recommended during pregnancy.
