What is a Baby Shower?

In some countries, a baby shower is a way to celebrate the pending or recent birth of a child by presenting gifts to the parents at a party. The term shower is often assumed to mean that the expectant mother is "showered" with gifts.

I just love this idea! The sky, the raindrops over a tea-party. Babies are indeed gifts from God and celebrating their arrival is an occasion that shouldn't be missed. Incredible!

I had a Pirates-themed baby shower. It was super fun for me and my friends. I received a lot of goodies too. Try something unique or something enjoyable for everyone.

Perhaps it all depends on the arragement. We could love the idea, perhaps stealing it, but we could do the modification so as to suit our taste. Right? :)

My son's baby shower was a success! The theme? An afternoon tea and cake party with everything sky blue! I grabbed a little inspiration from the TIME themed baby shower. ;)

Check out Jennifer Stano's blog. The diaper cake is just amazing! Love the inspiration! Now I've realized that it's ok to be involved in your baby's baby shower as Jennifer did! I'd prefer doing the same thing on our next baby's. Check out the blog of this gorgeous soon-to-be mom!

Baby shower is the best option for giving gifts to the parents for their babies at special occasion like first birthday of a baby. Baby shower is the collection of baby products like diaper set, monitoring, toys, clothes etc.

Nope. Baby showers are done BEFORE the baby is born.

Generally speaking, in most countries, a baby shower is done before the baby is born.
But in China, a baby shower is done after the baby's 1st month birthday.

Yes, indeed it is. But I'm not an expert with that thingy, I only have one country in mind that holds baby showers after the child is born.
