Meditation Video for Pregnant Women

This meditation video has helped me big time when I was pregnant in lessening the stress I had. The soothing effects of the music and the lovely photos of nature are indeed breathtaking. You won't regret downloading it. I feel like I'm still going to watch this now that I have my little one. Very inspiring.

I know this may look a bit creepy to some but I find this picture cathartic. Love how this photo brings me to being relaxed and self-reflective all at once!

@ Dalinda - I'm so happy for you with your new bundle of joy! Also, that vid is just so meditative. Thanks for that!

@ Adalira - No, it's not creepy at all. The best word for it is captivating. I like the 2nd pic as it's so refreshing and brings upon happy thoughts but the 1st pic is what I so LOVE. Brings back memories... Mixed emotions. You're right, purely cathartic!

I go to beach to relax... nothing beats the sound of the waves and some fresh air

@ Dalinda - I've been a fan of meditation videos like the one you've posted. Cheers!

When I was pregnant, these 2 things helped me big time.

YOGA - Helped me relaxed and regularized by breathing patterns. I know it's cliche but the routines I've performed somehow brought positive thoughts to me.
SINGING- I love it coz it helped me express myself. I'm just not quite sure if it helped the people around me in bringing positive thoughts when they hear me squeal whenever I hit a high note! LOL.

Nevertheless, these things made me somehow get through my pregnancies just fine, especially with the former which I found a bit more stressful than the latter. :)

I just relax at home, listen to some R&B or Pop music. Watch movies and just chill. That's how I relax now that I'm pregnant. Couldn't do anything other than that now that baby's getting bigger and heavier each day.

An alone time like once every week or 2. It clears my mind and make me feel more relaxed. It does help big time in making huge decisions and a great prelude in making plans ahead. :)

I agree with Gaetana that singing certainly IS therapeutic. :p

Yeah, for me it's the same way too. Not sure though if it is for others. LOL.

It is highly suggested that busy moms like us to get a pampering and our very own "ME" time once a week to keep our sanity intact. LOL! :)

Yeah it's true! Especially with the pressures at work at home and top it off with some community service, it's very much helpful to de-stress and get pampered for once a week.

A walk or a run in the park does me good... Fresh air... wind... it clears the mind...

Try the app Positive Pregnancy.
Though it's not free, it's 2.99, I always get a good start in sleeping with this app. My friend who's 3 months pregnant. Also says this app helps her relax and look on the positive side of her pregnancy after knowing that she got pregnant by her bf who happens to be married. :(

Not only during pregnancy but when I get extremely stressed at work. Where do I sing aloud? At the lift when I'm alone. Haha!

Make it twice a week. It's more stressful for moms like me who have to maintain two jobs while being a doting mom to a hyperactive but very adorable baby boy!

That's true! Indeed challenging so you have to get that spa or yoga session added to your To Do list.

Listening to good music and singing along are just very effective for me. Simple, free and effortless!

We share the same interest! If I'm ultimately stressed out or feeling high :p I go sing to my heart's content!

Playing computer games and some phone apps are a great way to forget something that stresses me out.
