Tales of Labor!

For those who have already given birth, share your story here! Since my baby is a first born, I really didn't know what to expect despite reading several articles about it. It seems no matter how much you plan, you just get dumbstruck when it's already there. In my experience, I watched a movie the day before I went to labor! The next day, that's it! We were all rushing to the hospital! LOL It was a whirlwind xD I really didn't have any problems and everything went smoothly actually. But at that time, I think I was just all nerves and just flowing and doing what everybody else is saying HA! Anyway, it was a normal delivery... 4 hours of labor, me thinks but normal xD

My labour wasn't a painful one. Didn't even felt that I was already at 4 cm. At 6 cm, it didn't progress for 12 hours. Also had GDM so I went through C-Section. Hope my next labour would be the same as my first!!

My gynecologist just told me to find a spot on the wall, focus and release all my energy to that point so as to alleviate the pain I was having. Meditation during a painful labor? Wow, I realized that it's easier said than done! Ouch!
