Can ultrasound determine the sex of the baby?

Is it possible to know if I have a girl or boy when I go for ultrasound?

Well, it is quite possible to know the sex of your baby through an ultrasound, but only after you are at least 18 weeks pregnant. However, sometimes a particular position of baby may make it difficult to determine the sex. And moreover, even if the doctor can predict the sex, remember it is not always necessarily correct.
