Pregnancy is great but it isn't a bed of roses. What you do about it and how you deal with the stresses of it matter. Do not stress yourself on the issues with your bf. Try to do things that will divert you attention to. Chat with your friends. Know more about pregnancy and childbirth. Watch feel-good movies. Try to write your future plans in a journal. Pray. You see, there are a lot of better things to do than sulking and feeling bad about yourself. The mere fact that you're carrying a gift from God is something. You are important. You are blessed. You are lucky!

Wow, I appreciate those kind words. I must say I felt a sudden "ego-lift" upon reading your post. Thank you Abana.

Re: I'm pregnant and I feel rubbish
Oh Halia, I just hope I could do something to cheer you up! I'm due this June and I'm telling you, physically, I feel terrible. And some might say that it's fine coz I'm having a great marriage. Yes, thankfully I do, but hubby and I go on a fight MOST of the time because of my crankiness, mood swings and all that. It's really difficult, you know, having challenges emotionally and physically and will end up to fights that are knowingly rooted to petty stuff. But I believe, we're all gonna get through this. You will succeed. Whatever you and your bf are going through now, I know you're gonna triumph over it. The mere fact that you two have chosen to face this issue, rather than leaving it, is something heroic and mature to do. You two did something wonderful for your baby. That's a sacrifice. And you'll soon reap the fruits of your labour... Relax and think positive. Everything will be ok. Hugs and kisses to you Halia...

Indeed it is! I always check out this thread on the days where I have very low self-esteem! I thank y'all too for the support I've badly needed ever since. Love you all!
