You're right. Times have changed. The more instances teen pregnancy happens, the more our culture becomes open-minded on this situation. I think sex education and increasing awareness of how this could be avoided should be done more importantly.
I second ^^ being that these are still "teenagers" the parents are the most accountable in this matter. If our kids our already adults and an unplanned pregnancy happens, then we could only do so much BUT they're already accountable for that... As for me I'll do my best to educate and supervise my kids to be responsible adults later on.
I agree... We could only do and hope so much. Reminds me of this quote:
“Your children are not your children.
They are sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you.
And though they are with you yet they belong not to you.
You may give them your love but not your thoughts,
For they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their souls,
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams.
You may strive to be like them, but seek not to make them like you.
For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.
You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth.
The archer sees the make upon the path of the infinite, and He bends you with His might that His arrows may go swift and far.
Let your bending in the archer's hand be for gladness.
For even as He loves the arrow that flies, so He also loves the bow that is stable.”

Thank you for sharing this moving quote. Gosh, the words really brought a lump to my throat.
Yes, we do. We could only do, help and dream so much.
You're welcome ladies.... It feels great reading and sharing stuff that were written a long time ago but still affects us in a thousand ways no matter how advanced our technology is these days.

It only goes to show that the simplest and most basic things in life are what do matter.
