Default weird appetite and weird sense of smell

I thought that having a weird sense of smell is just an old wives tale. But since getting pregnant, I admit, I could have the weirdest sense of smell on earth!! I find good smelling stuff smelling awfully. And I find weird smelling stuff nice. OMG. Same thing with my appetite. I love eating foods that don't really interest me before. Weird. Reply of you're feeling the same way and can relate to me.

In my case it's the other way around. My hubby was the one with the weird sense of smell and taste. We do not even know why! ^^

Ya know what? It's normal! I also had that weird sense of smell and taste before and it subsided on the 2nd tri. I hated the scent of vanilla before and it's weird because during my 1st tri, I wanted everything vanilla scented- my perfume, my lotion, the air freshener, even the car freshener! LOL.

Not really a weird sense of smell for me but a weird sense of taste! OMG, I never liked milk chocolates before but since my 12th week, I loved it! Until now I'm hitting a Ritter Sport or Hershey's Cookies and Cream. Weird.

That's odd. It's good though that you don't have to go through that! How fortunate of you!

@ Abana - Now, I'm not alone in this battle.

@ Dalinda - Oh c'mon! Who doesn't want milk chocolates? They're bloody yummy!

I do! DKNY Be Delicious is my all time favorite scent. Since getting pregnant, whenever I come across the scent of it, it makes me wanna puke! But I know this odd sense of smell will be over as soon as my little bubba comes out!

I did too! Good thing it just lasted for a couple of months, during my 1st tri I believe.

Gosh, I so could relate to this but with my hubby's favourite scent, mind you. I love hubby's Issey Miyake perfume ever since but now there are times that I had to scratch my nose because of the awful scent I think of it. Oh, the oddities of pregnancy!
